Crate and rails: how orders travel
Who ships your order
Every order placed through the listings on this site is fulfilled by the partner store you bought from. They pick it, pack it, hand it to the carrier and own the tracking. Delivery dates and shipping options appear at checkout and in your order history there, which is always more current than anything we could print here.
How we pack parts
Bulk assortments travel in a sealed bag inside a board carton, because a thousand loose pins in a thin envelope arrive as a thousand loose pins in a torn envelope. Smaller gear and pin packs ship in a zip bag you can keep as the drawer.
How we pack trains
HO models are the fragile end of the bench. Locomotives and rolling stock sit in a moulded tray inside a printed sleeve, with the handrails and detail parts supported rather than resting on the body. Keep the tray: it is also the safest place for the model between running sessions.
If the box arrives damaged
Photograph it before you unpack any further, then open an order problem with the store. The swap counter page explains the route.
