On the bench

Scale is mostly a question of wheels. A chassis that looks wrong with small wheels looks right with these: the tyres run a hundred and seven millimetres across and forty-four wide, on fifty-six by thirty-six millimetre hubs. That is the size class used on large technic trucks and off-road models, and it changes the proportions of a build more than any amount of bodywork.

How it behaves in a build

The set includes both tyres and hubs, which is worth checking elsewhere because wheels are often sold as one or the other. Reviewers call them simply nice tyres, and the practical point is that the rubber has enough grip to put motor torque on the ground rather than spinning. If you are converting a model from small wheels, check your axle heights first; this diameter will lift a chassis noticeably.

Fit and compatibility

Matched to the 15038 and 23798 part patterns, so hubs press onto standard cross axles and tyres seat on the matching rims.
