On the bench

Every long running collection develops holes. A pin snaps, a bush rolls under a radiator, a beam goes home in somebody's pocket, and six months later a set that was complete no longer builds. This pack is the patch: a broad mix of connecting and structural parts at a count high enough that the odds of containing the piece you lost are good, and high enough to be worth keeping as general stock afterwards.

How it behaves in a build

The same mix works as a first bulk purchase. Five hundred pieces is enough to build something substantial from scratch while leaving a reserve, and the assortment leans toward the parts that appear in every design rather than the specialised ones you need twice a year. Assembly feel is the usual mark of this line — firm enough to hold, loose enough to take apart without a tool. Colours arrive at random.

Fit and compatibility

Compatible with technic parts across the major brands, suitable as substitute pieces in an existing set.

More ASTEM technic parts: gears, axles and compatible building block sets

Builders rarely stop at one drawer, and the ASTEM collection is laid out with that in mind. A technic gear is only useful if it fits, so every axle, pin and building set here is held to the LEGO® compatible dimensions the system has used for decades. Most of what we fix comes from builders writing in; a customer note about the experience of opening a bag beats any lab test.
